Penned Con 2018 has officially partnered once again with a St. Louis based organization , Action for Autism, which has been dedicated to improving the lives of autistic children and their families for several years. They work hard to meet the growing needs of families and individuals within a 250 mile radius of St. Louis. AFA is affiliated with The Howard Park Center as well as The American School, which serves children in middle and high school.
1 in every 88 children born today will be diagnosed with some form of autism. AFA seeks to provide awareness and education about autism and to help families get the resources to best suit their needs.
